Since her time in BioInnovate, Sinéad has taken on the role of technical lead for SíSync, a company devoted to developing a non-hormonal treatment for women with endometriosis. In addition, Sinéad and her team created a project to develop a non-invasive way to monitor for fetal acidosis, in collaboration with the Mayo Clinic which has been recently funded by Science Foundation Ireland. Sinéad has also been working with the R&D team at Vetex Medical providing product development expertise for the development of their venous thrombectomy device, a project which received substantial Series A investment in 2017.
