After working alongside Prem Puri and upon completion of the BioInnovate fellowship, Sarah became the founder and CSO of Kite Medical, where, with significant commercialisation funding from Enterprise Ireland, developed a non-invasive method to detect Kidney Reflux in children. In April 2018 the company closed a seed round of €1.5million, which will allow further device development, signal processing advancements and support clinical feasibility testing.
