Michael Boylan
2016/17

Since his completion of the BioInnovate program in May, 2017, Michael opted to return to industry as a Clinical Account Manager for Berendsen in Ireland. Since March 2018, he has become the EMEA Medical Science Lead for Cardinal Health, a role he is enjoying as he has incorporated a needs led innovation approach into the company’s mindset.

All going well I will head up the Medical Affairs Dept for EMEA with a team of 10 MSL’s and will be based in Dublin. I would have struggled to get this position without all the knowledge, training and experience gained from being a member of the Bioinnovate Vascular Team at St James's Hospital. My clinical boss, Ali Almedichy is a Stanford graduate and knew the calibre of candidate he was searching for when he hired me. I owe a huge debt of gratitude to NUIG and BioInnovate and my ambition is to keep the relationship going over the coming years.
