After her time in BioInnovate, Marie returned to her true love, research. From 2012 to present, she has acted as a Doctoral Researcher in Lero, the Irish Software Research Centre, based in University of Limerick. She continues to employ many of the skills she acquired in BioInnovate as part of her research methodology.
