Since Bioinnovate, JJ has excelled as a Senior Scientist with Chrono Therapeutics, a pharmaceutical company based in Hayward, California which focuses on improving clinical outcomes for patients battling addictions and living with neurological disorders by building a next generation transdermal drug delivery wearable that integrates biologically-timed drug delivery with personalised digital support. In the last few years, Chrono Therapeutics received over $80 million dollars in VC and grant funding over 2 rounds to develop its technology for smoking cessation, and is well into its clinical development.

More recently, JJ has taken a Senior R&D management position at Foundry SING1. Founded in 2016, Foundry SING1 is developing innovative solutions targeting unmet clinical needs in Asia. Foundry Managing Partners Mark Deem and Hanson Gifford and LSV General Partner Michael Carusi have joined the Company’s Board of Directors.
