Christoph Hennersperger
2015/16

Christoph, upon completion of the 2015/16 program, partnered with fellow graduate and Cardiothoracics teammate, Fionn Lahart, to cofound OneProjects, an innovative medical device start-up established to revolutionise the treatment for paroxysmal and persistent Atrial Fibrillation (AFib), which affects millions of people worldwide. As CTO, he has worked closely with Fionn to create VERAFEYE, a digitally connected medical device that will enable clinicians to precisely monitor, verify and improve in-procedural efficiency and efficacy, reduce re-intervention rates and produce significant patient and economic benefits within the AFib space. With the assistance of substantial Enterprise Ireland Commercial Fund seed backing, the company is continuing to build a significant portfolio of IP, with the strategic ambition to spin OneProjects out in Q1 2019 and progress towards commercial market access in 2021.
