Eddie currently runs a consulting company specialising in optimising business processes for SMEs with technical products. Until early 2020, he was CEO of Red Box Direct Ltd, a multinational scientific instrumentation distributor. Red Box Direct has offices in Ireland, Hong Kong and the US with divisions specialising in neuro electrophysiology, muscle physiology, material science, and others. Prior to that, he had more than a decade of experience working in scientific instrumentation sales. He started his career with IonOptix, a US-based life science company specializing in fluorescence microscopy and the study of isolated cardiomyocytes. Eddie graduated from Dublin City University with a BSc in Applied Physics and received an MBA from UCD Smurfit Graduate Business School in 2019.
