Josh studied at University College London where he was awarded a degree in Biochemistry in 2018. However, at this stage in his life he did not go on to work in Medical Sciences but joined Price Waterhouse Coopers in their Belfast office, where he worked across a range of sectors. After spending a year with PwC he joined the Graduate Scheme at UBS, an international Swiss Bank, based in the City of London. While on the graduate scheme, he had the opportunity to work as a business analyst, a project manager, and a trading supervisor before taking up his most recent role as a data analyst in one of the banks digital strategy teams. Within the team he has encouraged the use of data to help drive better decisions, while outside the team he has taken a leading role in improving junior talent programmes. Away from work Josh plays an active role in a charity that helps fund local youth initiatives. Josh is excited to be joining the Bioinnovate Fellowship Programme as he has maintained an interest in Medical Sciences since his degree, and despite his relative youth he now wishes to use the skills he has learned in his professional experiences to make a positive impact in the healthcare sector. Josh is looking forward to moving to Galway and working in Ireland as he enjoys travelling to new places. In his spare time he enjoys brewing beer, road cycling and socialising with friends.
