Craig is passionate about that exciting space where technology, innovation and business converge, and in particular where it involves the life sciences. He has accordingly established a career within the healthcare sector, fulfilling various roles spanning the technical-to-business continuum. Highlights include: CEO of an ophthalmology medical devices start-up (IsoClear), executive- and general manager roles in development and SEED finance (Cape Biotech; Technology Innovation Agency), CEO of a life sciences business incubator (Acorn Technologies), management consultant (Frost & Sullivan), business development professional (Thermo Fischer Scientific; Agilent) and R&D chemist (Johnson & Johnson). He has served as non-executive director on the boards of several start-up firms, enjoying the hands-on involvement in enterprise development and supporting technology-based start-ups. Craig’s aspiration is to establish and/or join MedTech ventures where he may work alongside similarly ambitious people who have the purpose of creating impact and achieving personal and enterprise growth. Craig’s qualifications include an MBA, post-graduate diploma in Marketing Management and M.S. (Chemistry). Interests include music, movies, cycling and traveling.
