Roisin McNulty
BSc. Hons, M Physiotherapy, Clinical Masters in Musculoskeletal & Sports Physiotherapy
Rehabilitation Team

Roisin is a Physiotherapist with 15 years wide-ranging experience including the delivery of medical and physiotherapy services to professional athletes and elite performers across multiple continents. Roisin graduated with a bachelor's degree in Sport & Exercise Science from the University of Limerick in 2006, providing a solid platform to post graduate studies in Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney. She later completed a Clinical Masters in Musculoskeletal & Sports Physiotherapy in Queensland. During her years in Australia, Roisin worked in the public hospital system, a private multi-disciplinary clinic and served as Physiotherapist to the Australian Women's Rugby Team. In 2016, she embarked on a unique opportunity with Cirque du Soleil’s ’OVO’ to lead the Performance Medicine team in supporting the show's 52 performers across an international tour over 4 years. Working in this fast-paced and creative environment fostered a passion to seek innovative solutions in her work. Roisin’s interest in innovation led her to participate in the 2020 MIT-Harvard Medical School Bootcamp in Healthcare Innovation. The program provided the opportunity to work with a global team of innovators, adopting a needs-led approach to design a solution for an unmet problem. The learning experience further fueled Roisin’s ambition to be part of a project in healthcare with far-reaching impact. Roisin joined Red Bull Athlete Performance, Salzburg in 2021 and spent the last 2 years leading interdisciplinary teams to problem-solve and enhance outcomes for athletes through evidence-based interventions and the incorporation of novel technologies. After many years overseas, Roisin is delighted to return ‘home’ to Galway and loves to spend her recreational time running, in nature, watching sport and enjoying live music. Roisin describes herself as a lifelong learner and is excited at the prospect of collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to identify underserved problems and make a positive impact to people's lives.
