Shape the Future of Health Technology

Are you ready to take the next step in your career? The BioInnovate Programme empowers individuals to become the next generation of healthtech leaders.

As Ireland’s leading full-time programme in medical device and digital health innovation, BioInnovate brings together multidisciplinary teams- clinicians, engineers, and business professionals- who share a passion for improving patient outcomes.

Modelled on Stanford Biodesign, and as Europe’s only Stanford Biodesign affiliate, the programme follows the internationally recognised Identify, Invent, Implement framework. Working collaboratively, participants are absorbed in the full clinical innovation journey- identifying unmet clinical needs during clinical immersion, inventing and prototyping solutions, and developing strategies for successful commercialisation.

Delivered over ten dynamic months, BioInnovate uses a Just-in-Time Learning model that aligns training sessions with the real challenges and decisions participants face at each stage of the process. The result is a highly relevant, practical, and impactful learning experience.

The programme is fully funded, and participants receive a tax-free scholarship of €38,000 over the ten-month period. In addition, academic fees of up to €5,750 are covered by the programme. For more information, visit Programme Fees & Funding.

Since the inception of BioInnovate, 33 health technology startups have been formed and our alumni network, (of over 170 fellows), have gone on to become industry leaders within their respective fields and are driving advancements in medical technology globally.
