John has over 8 years of experience in the product and process development of Medical devices. Having graduated with a bachelor's degree in Mechatronic Engineering from Napier University Edinburgh, John spent a short period with Intel before moving to Advant Medical to pursue a career in the Medical device sector. During his time with Advant Medical, John has worked in the design and development of automated equipment for medical device assembly. He was also responsible for several technology transfers to Low Cost Countries. He worked on the product and process development of Class 1, 2 and 3 medical devices for both Multinational and Startup customers, progressing projects right the way through to commercialisation.
